2010 Matchplay Swiss Champion

What a week...I'm so pleased with my performance in Limpachtal.I never went further than the first round in the past... That Championship was the last "Big" title that i haven't win. With that win i have the PGA Championship strokplay and now matchplay. The first match vs Dusson was a tough one, but i could beat him on the 17th. 2nd match vs Ullrich, great match: 6 birdies from me and a final one on the 18th to secure the win...3rd vs Li Puma, a great nerves battle which lasted until the 17th and the great final where i didn't loose a single hole against Chatelain and won with 6 and 4. I'm so happy to have captured that tough title! Next week will also be tough for the nerves, stage 1 of the European Tour school but that week in Limpachtal gave me a huge amout of confidence,

Best regards,

Alex

EPD Tour Ulm : best season result

Alexandre had a long but successful sommer, last week he finished T9th on a tight and demanding golf course. With scores of 70-72-73 he had his best finish this year on the EPD Tour. Atfer knowing that Alexandre would not play in Crans, he found some energy left to perform well and keep his good form! Now a little break before the last stretch of tournaments...with the Swiss Match-play Championship and right after the European Tour School in Bogogno (Italy). We hope that he form will last till that big tournament where his life could change but the road is long, very long to get to the Q-school finals (14 rounds) .

Best regards,

Alexandre

First win in 2010

Alexandre won in Kandern his first SwissPGA Tour of 2010. With scores of 66 and 69 he was able to defend his title and won that tournament for the 3rd year in a row. After the first round, Alexandre was 2 shots behind the leader but the next day he took the lead after 7 holes and never left it. He secured his win to 2 shots margin with a final birdie on the last green. This good result comes at the right time...Alexandre has now a real change to qualify for Crans! He needs now to stay in front of André Bossert during the SwissPGA Championship where Alexandre won last year...Hopefully he's going to defend that title as well as in Kandern!

Best regards,

Alexandre

Credit Suisse Challenge, Sempach

On the course of Wood Side in Sempach, Alexandre took a very good T28 place. With 4 solids rounds under par (68-70-69-70) he showed once again that his good form is still going. That week he had Jöel Lenz on the bag, a junior of Wylihof golf club. They had together a really good time and he helped a lot Alexandre to stay focus and to keep his patience on the greens . With that second invitation on the Challenge Tour, Alexandre shows that he can compete on that level. We are looking forward to see if he'll get some other starts on the Challenge Tour this season.

Best regards,

Alexandre

Stage 1 European Tour School in Bogogno

What a start in Bogogno...79! I haven't done that score since a very long time. Unfortunately after such a start it's almost impossible mission to get to the 2nd stage. I'm still proud of my fighting spirit and didn't let it go, with 3 good rounds i finished the tournament with 288 (level par) when -5 was needed to go through. Now my option is to try once again the Sunshine Tour Qualifying School in Bloemfontain end of november.

I will practing until then to get that card and who knows if i get the full category then i will be able to play several tournaments co-sanctioned tournament (Sunshine-European Tour). Which gives me another goal before Christmas to practice and to stay in the same shape than the last weeks on tour.

Have fun with the last mild days on the golf course,

Take care,

Alexandre
