First of all i wish all of you a happy new year 2011 and all the best for your season.

I started my season after 2 weeks of break before the kick off. I went to Spain to prepare the season but the rain didn't help me to stay in touch with the golf course! I started me seson on the sunshine tour the 4th of January, with a good 75 reagarding the conditions of practice and the time that i had before that day. The course of fish river is really challenging and the 4 club wind didn't help to make it easyer. I feel good for the next qualifier but the good news is that i'm suppose to get in the 2 even the next 3 tournaments without the need the qualify! I wish you all a nice week and we keep in touch...

Sorry to have taken so much time to keep you up to date but we are here in Africa and internet is still not everywhere!

Der Initiative von Gilbert Vollmer ist es zu verdanken, dass sich am Mittwoch,
17. November, über 30 Personen im Suite in Luzern eingefunden haben. Hierfür
gebührt Erdal, Inhaber von der Suite, besonderen Dank für die ausgezeichnete
Bewirtung. Der mit Charme und Witz organisierte Anlass zelebrierte den
Startschuss für den exklusiven Sponsoringclub zugunsten von Alexandre Chopard.
Die Mitglieder, allesamt engagierte Golfer, haben sich bereit erklärt Alexandre
Chopard, dem aufstrebenden Shooting Star der Schweizer Pro Szene, Hand zu bieten
für den Sprung auf die internationale Golfbühne. Die Atmosphäre war heiter
und bot allen Anwesenden viel Freude zum Austausch mit Gleichgesinnten.

Mit Spannung und Charme leitete Gilbert Vollmer durch den Abend und führte die
Mitglieder in die Charta ein, welche Alexandre Chopard zu Höchstleistungen
verhelfen soll. Alexandre Chopard zeigte sich zutiefst dankbar für die
Anstrengungen seitens der Mitglieder und freut sich darauf Ihnen zur Verfügung
zu stehen an den geplanten Anlässen. Seitens dem Pro-Supporter Club gab es
ebenfalls grosses Lob für die Initiative und die Grosszügigkeit der
Anwesenden zur Unterstützung.

Deren sind es nicht wenige, die Aufregung und Spass versprechen für das
kommende Jahr. Als Auftakt wird im Golfclub Wilihof aufgeteet werden mit
Alexandre Chopard im April 2011. So freuen sich die Mitglieder auf die
kommenden Anlässe und Alexandre Chopard auf einen intensiven Austausch.

I kept my card at the Sunshine Tour Qualifying School. After a tough strart of 77 and 74, I stayed focus and shot 3 good rounds (68-71-72) to finish exactly on the 30th and last spot with an exemption for 2011. The conditions were really hot and windy on the 2 courses in Bloemfontein (Schoeman park and Bloemfontein Country Club). That means that I will start the 2011 Sunshine Tour season in begenning january with the qualifier for the "African Open" in East London.

After 2 successful seasons in Switzerland i have new goals. There for i need some support. My friend Gilbert Vollmer came out with a new concept of a Fan Club. The members will get benefits as rounds of golf, travels and other events with me. The money will help me to pay travel, entry fees and qualifying school around the world.
