Merry Christmas to all of you

I wish you all of you, your family and friends a MERRY CHRISTMAS

PQ2 Costa Ballena

Tough end of season...i'm really sad about my last 5 tournaments week. Last week in Costa Ballena for the European Tour school stage 2, i couldn't compete at my best, i had some wriste problems and since my return from South Africa my health was a real issue to be able to practice and perform in decent conditions! In Costa Ballena close to Jerez i wasn't able to compete because of my long game and if my short game would not have that sharpe my scores would have been even worse!

And because bad news always come together, i didn't keep my card on the Sunshine Tour for 5 spots which means for 1 or 2 shots! I finished the 2011 Sunshine Tour season at the 125th spot and the top 120 keep their cards!

Now come the time to find options for the future, but first i'll take some time off from the golf. I need to rest and get in good shape again! But i'll be back and stronger than ever!

I wish all of you a nice end of year and i'll keep you in touch about what i will do!

Best regards from home,

Alex

Weihnachtsfeier des Clubs "Friends of AC"

South African campain is over...

I'm back from South Africa with a lot of regrets but that is the golf...The last 3 tournaments exactly the same senario happended which is a decent or good round and a second that made me miss the cut! The coast experience showed me how much i was wrong when i thought that i knew what was a strong wind! And when you are after the first round just on the cut line, a good start is really needed which i didn't really have! Then i started to think to much on not making other mistake then to play as i did the first round!! Without finding excuses i have to say that the coast is also a real lottery...2 times i had the worse draw possible and that at the end makes 2 strokes a round and a big difference at the end!

Now i'm at home for a week off and making my new home a nice place!! But soon i'll be on the road again for the 2nd stage of the European Tour Q-school, which could change my life within 4 days...so i know what i have to concentrate on and for now and the moment : Rest!

Best Regards,

Alex

Suncoast Classic in Durban

I just arrived back in Johannesburg after 6 hours of driving from Durban...it's a nice, long straight road but after missing the cut you don't really enjoy as much the view as i should. The first day was very earlier tee time 6.30 but because on the coast the wind can blow very hard, i thought it was a good draw! Never the less, i shot a 2 over with two doubles...exactly what i tryed to avoid! I was laying 40th exactly on the cut line after the 1st round! Now second day started to be solid even if i bogeyed the tought first...level par after 11 holes i saw me making the cut... Huge mistake, i lost my goal of playing shot by shot and the result came very fast...+ 4 on the last 6 which are not as tough as the first 11!! That's why i was really sad to loose it like that! Next week in Joburg, on a course that i like very much! i really look forward to play there again and this is the only way to erase a bad result...making a great one the following week!

I'll keep you in touch and have a great week end,

Best regards from (27 dergres) Johannesburg,

Alex
